Rebecca Tran

Co-Founder

MHSc. Health & Administration (UBC)

Rebecca is a Public Health Dietitian and brings to the table over 15 years of experience with community food security & sustainable food systems. She is the current acting President of the West Hants Food Action Council and a member of the Dietitians of Canada Association, Nova Scotia Dietectics Association and Food Secure Canada. 

Kaitlyn McLay

Community Connector and Strategic Alliance Coordinator

Kaitlyn is an environmentalist and Co-op student attending Acadia University where she studies Community Development and Environmental and Sustainability Studies. She developed a passion for local agriculture when she studied Sustainable Local Food at Seneca College. She has experience working at the Canadian Wildlife Federation assisting them in creating an agriculture branch.

Heather Lunan

Co-Founder

Heather is an esteemed local entrepreneur and food advocate. She is the co-founder and operator of Pie R Squared, a food production company specialized in the manufacturing of gluten-free, locally sourced frozen meals & products. As a local food advocate, Heather also has over 10 years of hands-on experience with local food security and rural community development initiatives.

Lily Sheel

Farm to School Liaison

Lily is currently a Co-op student at Acadia University and has just completed her second year of Community Development and Environmental and Sustainability studies. She is passionate about the local food movement and excited to be working at the hub for the next few months!

For an additional fee, tenants & entrepreneurs have direct access to a network of advisors with backgrounds in food, beverage, retail, small-business & corporate law and accounting

LONG-TERM

COMMERCIAL LEASES

Multiple commercial units available for long-term rentals. A fully equipped wellness centre and co-working space  available on-site for tenants. Email Admin@thestationfoodhub.ca for more information. 

Board room available on-site for hourly rentals. Board room accommodates up to 30 people and is equipped with a white board, in-room kitchenette, LCD projector and a speaker phone
